Kristi Ferguson is a writer and researcher from Brazil who lives in Northern Virginia. Her writing has been published in Bellevue Literary Review, MAYDAY, Litro Magazine, and elsewhere.

She is an alumna of the Kenyon Review Writers Workshop as well as the Sewanee Writers' Conference, where she was a nonfiction scholar. She reads creative nonfiction for TriQuarterly and holds a PhD in Cognitive Psychology.

Kristi is currently querying a memoir centered on a friendship between two girls growing up in an apocalyptic cult.
